Who Should Consult Their Doctor Before Taking pMg or MAX

Those Under The Care of A Doctor or Who Have A Medical Condition

If pregnant or lactating, or otherwise under the care of a physician, or a medical condition exists, especially compromised kidney or digestive tract function, or sensitive to any ingredient, consult your doctor before taking Potentiated Magnesium (pMg), and, of course, keep out of the reach of children.  Because the kidneys help regulate how much magnesium is in the blood, those who have compromised or abnormal kidney function should check with their doctor before taking any form of magnesium.  A compromised digestive tract can interfere with magnesium uptake (as can the taking of calcium supplements, which also interferes with magnesium uptake).  Magnesium can interfere with the uptake of certain medications, but this can usually be overcome by taking them at different times (your doctor or pharmacist can guide you).  If any of these conditions exist, it is always prudent to check with your doctor before taking any dietary supplement, including pMg or MAX, or any supplement that contains magnesium.
